Volunteer for House in the Basement Youth Cafe

Are you looking for a way to spend time and learn key skills all while meeting new people? 

We are looking for young people aged 11 to 18, or 11 to 24 if living with a disability, to Volunteer and work alongside the Youth Café - HOUSE in the Basement [HiTB]  you would  learn Important skills such as:
  • Use of electronic tills
  • Stock ordering                                
  • Food preparation                           
  • Customer service
  • Engaging with other young people
  • Health and safety
  • Event management
  • Cashing up

Volunteer for Mencap 

Are you Passionate in helping people with learning difficulties? Then why not Volunteer with Mencap?
They provide a Drama group on a Wednesday and a social group on a Friday evening.

What are they looking for?
They are looking for volunteers to help with the distribution of refreshments for these different activity evenings, while meeting new people and gaining new skills.
